HAPPY NEW YEAR, DARLIN'S! Hope y'all had a rest from classes & stuff durin' the holiday season, and that yer all rarin' and ready to roar into these last months of dancin' before the BIG PARTY in New Your City this coming July.

In browsin' through all them wonderful newsletters that all of yer clubs send out every month, I noticed that some of you kids love to cook. Sometimes there's a recipe or two fitted into the regular stuff of schedules, announcements and who's datin' who! So I thought, "Wella, dear, what this squaredancin' community needs is a good old-fashioned COOK BOOK, packed together with all them wonderful recipes from all them imaginative cooks. . . I came up with the idea of FROM THE KITCHEN OF. . . a collection of recipes and the like from members of the square dance community! So that's what I'm gonna work on this spring.

BUT I NEED HELP FROM ALL OF Y'ALL! I need recipes from all of you to put into this thing. . . So get out your finest in culinary cuisine conception, and faster that y'all can say "soup's on!', I'll be off and runnin! Hope y'all enjoy doin' this. So take care and be well, my darlin's!
