Notable Notes and Highlights:

Due to civil unrest in Ferguson, MO, the previous year, local authorities required political demonstration permits for both the outdoor Grand March, which was led out of the hotel and into the park across the street for a group photo, and the Fun Badge Tour, which had strict timing requirements with drastic penalties ($1,000 per 5 minutes if the tour was late returning to the hotel). The Fun Badge Tour was contracted out to a local tour operator, Destination St. Louis, who obtained the necessary permits through existing channels.
