- began dancing with Times Squares
- his alter-ego, Tami Wynotte, won the Honky Tonk Queen contest in 1989
- moved to Fort Lauderdale and dances with South Florida Mustangs
- co-founded the Bathing Beauties
- the second of only three people to have received both boots - the Golden Boot Award and Honky Tonk Queen. The others are Harlan Kerr who, like Bob, also served as Chairmen of the IAGSDC and Ross Crawshaw-Lopton
- frequent host of Fun Badge Tour buses

- served on the IAGSDC Executive Committee as Secretary, 1990-1992; Vice Chair, 1992-1993; Chair, 1993-1996
Golden Boot Award
In 2009, John Mckinstry presented Bob with the Golden Boot Award.
In 2010, Bob presented the award to John Faulds.
