Obituary
TRACHTENBERG — William Isaac, born December 6, 1956, deceased February 16, 2001. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Isaac Trachtenberg on February 16, 2001 at St. Paul's Hospital. William is survived by his mother and father, Pearl and Irving Trachtenberg; his brother, Bruce; his loving partner, Angus McDonald and many other family members. Williams will be remembered for his numerous acts of kindness, his generosity and his great love of life. His fun loving spirit touched the hearts of many people. William also had great respect and love for the many caregivers at St. Paul's Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Paul's Foundation, the BC Cancer Agency or other meaningful charities. A funeral service was held in his hometown of Portland, Oregon and a memorial service will be held in Vancouver at the Canadian Memorial Centre for Peace, 1825 West 16th Avenue on March 3rd at 2:00pm to celebrate William's life.[1]
