Remembrances
Thad (Teddy) was a founding member of the Wilde Bunch and a member of the Lone Star Lambdas after moving to Austin, Texas.
— Aldo Harrison
Thad came back to the Wilde Bunch for a period about 15+ plus years ago after his then-partner passed away. He did graduate in my class with the Wilde Bunch (#2, started Sept '83), and he danced for another year or so, then moved on to Austin because of family. He had a great laugh and sense of humor. He helped design our then-club shirts. I know he had helped raise some kids in all those intervening years, but I don't know the details. Maybe 10 years ago, he reconnected with me after moving back to ABQ again (from Austin, I believe), but his health was very bad, and I could tell he was having some cognitive issues. He kept in touch with me, but it was difficult, since he was very erratic. I stopped communicating with him a few years ago, sadly.
