Mark C. Clarke
Westinghouse engineer
A memorial service for Mark C. Clarke, a lead software engineer at a Westinghouse Electric Corp. plant, was held yesterday at his home on East 33rd Street.
Mr. Clarke, who was 29, died last Friday at his home of complications of acquired immune deficiency syndrome.
Since 1982, he had worked in his company's Integrated Logistics Support Division in Dorsey.
In 1985, he won the George Westinghouse Signature of Excellence Award and last fall, was nominated for the Westinghouse Information Systems Advisory Council Award.
Born in Beckley, W.Va., he came to the Baltimore area as a child and was a 1978 graduate of the Severna Park High school, where he was named a National Merit Scholar.
He earned a computer engineering degree at the University of Delaware.
He is survived by his parents, G. Court and Joan E. Clark, both of Severna Park; a sister, Carole Clarke of Severna Park; and his partner, Dennis F. Dellamalva of Baltimore.[1]
