James Dawson, 51

James Johann Dawson, 51, of Cathedral City died Jun 14, 1997, in Palm Springs.

He was born July 6, 1945, In Philadelphia to Dorothy M. Jones and James Russell Dawson.

Mr. Dawson was a loan officer for American Savings Bank for 18 years.

Survivors include his life companion, Mark Rutherford of Cathedral City; mother and father, Dorothy And Russell Dawson, both of Edmunton, N.C.; three sons, Tyler Dawson of Shawnee, Kan., Adam Dawson of Fayetteville, Ark., and Was Dawson; a sister, Carol Middleton of Elizabeth City, N.C.; a brother, Kenneth Dawson of Baltimore; and one grandchild.

Burial will be private.

Arrangements are under the direction of Palm Springs Mortuary of Cathedral City.
