Obituary

MIAMI, Fla. — Former Missoula residnet James William Goeres, 50, of Miami, died of coronary arrest Tuesday, Nov. 15, in Miami.

He was born July 15, 1938, in Adams County, N.D., to Agnes and Matt Goeres. He attended schools in North Dakota and graduated from high school in Lemmon, S.D.

Mr. Goeres attended barber college in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1957. The following year he moved to Missoula, where he worked at a sugar beet factory and at Anaconda Co.'s Bonner mill. In 1963, he graduated from beauty school and opened then Henn Haus Beauty Shop. He moved to Seattle in 1970, moving to Miami in 1986.

Survivors include his parents, Missoula; three brothers, Leo and Ray, both of Missoula, and Leonard, Dickinson, N.D.; three sisters, Eileen Nedved, Coran; Evelyne Ricker, Missoula; and Jeanette Holms, Portland, Ore.; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at a later date.[2]
