Obituary

LYONS — Frederick Earl, passed away at his home on September 22, 1986, age 46 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving family; his mother, Ethel Mae Lyons, of Red Deer, Alta.; 3 brothers, Don, and his wife, Mary Ann, Howard, and his wife, Audrey, Keith, and his wife, Mabel; 1 sister, Ellen; his very special friend, Carl; also many other loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 4 at 2 p.m. in the Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd., North Vancouver. At Fred's request, flowers are gratefully declined in favour of donations to AIDS, Vancouver. Arrangements through the Memorial Society of B.C. and First Memorial Services.[1]

LYONS — Frederick Earl of Vancouver, B.C., passed away in Vancouver on Sept. 22, 1986, at the age of 46 years. He was born and raised in Red Deer. He received all of his schooling in Red Deer, before moving to Vancouver in 1960. He is survived by his loving mother, Ethel Lyons, of Red Deer; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law Howard and Audrey of Nanaimo, Don and Mary Ann of Red Deer, Keith and Mabel of Blackfalds; 1 sister Ellen of Red Deer and several nieces and nephews; also by a very dear friend, Carl Gravel of Vancouver, B.C. He was predeceased by his father Vern in Aug., 1976. Cremation. Private services and Interment Sat. Sept. 27, 1986 at Horn Hill Cemetery. Those wishing to make memorial tributes may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society, 509 4808 Ross St. Red Deer. We are so much stronger for Fre having touched our lives.[2]
