Fran Trammell transitioned male to female about six months after joining FCS. She had issues trying to dance, but was very generous and open-hearted, and helped out a lot at FCS. She came over to our house many times and helped out with a sample square when I was learning to call. She danced with us at Ocean Squares a few times, too. We have a book, The Land of Oz, the second in the 38 books in the Oz series, which Fran said was the inspiration for her desire to transition.
