History:
The founding members were Boyd Bodily (Secretary), David Goodsell, Bill Grimm, Tim Groover, Sonny Harris, Tom Hatfield, George Haverstick, Mel Heupel (Vice President). Naida Hindert, Dean Hofmann, Gary Karsten, Keith Lasley, Linda McKinney, Doug More (Treasurer), Scott Parker, Ralph Smith (President), and Ann Walker (Caller).
- From the Program Book of the 7th IAGSDC Convention, held in Vancouver, BC in 1990:
- The Finest City Squares of San Diego has celebrated their first year anniversary under the direction of Ms. Ann Walker, Caller.
- Dancing has extended to two nights a week with a variety of Basic through Plus programs. Our usual stomping grounds is the West Coast Production Company.
