He designed and created the Independence Squares club outfit that consisted of a yoke applique featuring a waving U.S. flag. I admired the design and so consulted with him in coming up with a design for Rainbeaus—the shirt that we currently wear. He gave me one of the Independence Squares appliques so that I could model our shirts after it, and I still have it.
