Biography
President of Squares Across The Border for 2 years in the late 1980s. Bill was one of the founding members of the club which started from a core of line dancers. As club membership grew, Bill started teaching line dancing on the breaks between tips. This led to his successful career as a line dance instructor and choreographer (“Boot Scootin’ Boogie” is his best-known line dance). Bill started the club’s newsletter Borderlines and served as its editor for over 3 years. He was one of the main organizers of the 1990 IAGSDC convention “Northstar Promenade”. Bill lives in Vancouver with his partner of 31+ years.
