Obituary

MATTHEWS — Bernard William, born October 26, 1947, died recently at St. Paul's Hospital after a courageous battle with a terminal illness. Bernie shared his joyous life with many people. His positive spirituality and joy of life will be carried forever by the many people he touched. He is predeceased by his mother, and father in 1987. He is survived by his loving sister, Brenda Fisher of Barrhead, Alta.; his brother, Tom Matthews of Calgary, Alta.; his nieces and nephew, Amy Jean, Michelle and Jeff. His love was shared with Michel, Red, Dean and Gerry. Memorial service will be held in mid-spring with a reception to follow at his Clark Dr. residence. Enquiries may be directed to 872-3777.
