Tim Jurika
Thomas "Tim" Walker Jurika Jr., 39, of Mill Valley, Calif., and formerly of Sarasota, died Nov. 27, 1993, of AIDS complications.
He was born Oct. 4, 1954, in Davao City, Philippines, and moved to Sarasota in 1961. He attended elementary schools in Sarasota; was an honors graduate of the University of North Carolina; and received his law degree from the University of San Francisco, where he was on the "Law Review" before practicing with Graham & James in San Francisco.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Virginia of Sarasota; a sister, Anne of San Francisco; and two brothers Bill of San Francisco and Louis of Miami.
A memorial service will be in Mill Valley, Calif.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sarasota AIDS Support Inc., 3002 Tiamiami Trail N. NO.4, Sarasota 34234.[2]
