Remembrances
Vancouver 2001 was my first Vancouver Convention, having had to miss 1990 for a variety of reasons. I was particularly glad to finally meet QE2, after inheriting my late friend Harry Koga's signed portrait of Her Royal Highness from '90.

As Russ mentioned this was her 2nd appearance at a convention and had to be "convinced" to come out of "retirement" in order to do a reprise of her 1990 appearance.

Oh yes, she was hilarious...particularly the first time before we had an idea of what to expect. I brought a small TV (with VCR built in) to FCD mainstream classes to show the newbies in order to (hopefully) stimulate their interest in going to a Convention!
