HEAD, STEVEN JOHN
In this city March 13, 1990. Loving son of Alice & John Head of Overland Park, KS. Loved brother of Debra Dower of Overland Park, KS, and brother-in-law of Richard Dower. Devoted uncle of Ashley & Tyler Dower. He leaves his family and many friends In Sacramento. A native of Sacramento, aged 40 years. A memorial service and reception will be held at a later date. Steven John Head
Passed away in Sacramento on March 13 at 40 years-of-age from complications relating to AIDS. Steven was born to John and Alice Head in Overland Park, Kansas. The deceased is survived by his sister Debra Dower and brother-in-law Richard Dower, also of Overland Park. Stan Hadden, Steven's former lover, remembers him as someone who "enjoyed the company of others." Steven Head is remembered for his work as a draftsman with the Sacramento Municipal Utilities District. The deceased was also active in several metaphysical groups and those for people with AIDS. Donations in memorial can be made to the Sacramento AIDS Foundation.^[2]
