Salvatore "Sam" Nuccio Jr.
June 1, 1995
Sam, 50, passed away at his home in Sunnyvale, Calif., June 1. For the past five years he was the program/marketing director of California's Historic Estate for the Arts — Villa Montalvo.

Sam was the loving son of the late Salvatore and Rose Nuccio and the life companion of Dave Long. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Rhody Nuccio, and their family.

Sam was a native of Tampa, Fla., and received his B.A. at the University of Florida and his master's at the University of Indiana. He moved to the Bay Area in 1973 and pursued a career in the arts and entertainment field. He was a company manager for Theatre Flamereo in San Francisco for approximately seven years.

Sam's many loyal friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, June 11, from noon-8 p.m. at the Mountain View Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries, 799 Castro St., Mountain View. Services will be Monday, June 12, at noon at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery's chapel, 22555 Cristo Rey Drive, Los Altos. Donations may be made in Sam's name to VNA, Aris Project or hospice programs.[1]
