Obituary

A memorial service for Roger William Bullis of Southwest Portland will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Silver Center at American Plaza Condominiums, 2301 S.W. First Ave. Disposition was by cremation.

Mr. Bullis died of a heart attack on Dec. 14 while on vacation in Honolulu. He was 57.

He was born Feb. 10, 1934, in Corvallis. He joined the Air Force in 1953. After his discharge, he studied at the University of Oregon, graduating in 1959.

He worked as a branch manager for U.S. National Bank from 1960 to 1970. From 1971 to 1972, he was executive vice-president of First Federal Savings & Loan in Vancouver, Wash. Since then, he owned and operated Van Nuys Travel Service.

Survivors include his sons, Scott W. of Portland and Stephen P. of Lake Oswego; brother Glen of San Diego, Calif.; and sister Evelyn Lasswell of Ramona, Calif.

The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the HIV Day Center, 3835 S.W. Kelly St.[1]
