Obituary
SCHOTTMULLER, RICHARD ALAN, 47, of White Bear Lake, Minn., formerly of St. Petersburg, died Friday (April 9, 1999). Born in St. Paul, Minn., he came here in 1969 as a student at Florida Presbyterian College, now Eckerd College, where he later worked in the registrar's office. He also worked as assistant to the pastor of Lakeview Presbyterian Church. He moved in 1867 to San Francisco where he worked as an executive assistant in the Tax division of Genentech. He was an avid bridge player and film buff. He was a co-founder of the Unruh Award for Excellence in Theater Arts at Eckerd College. Survivors include his stepmother, Ria Schotmuller, White Bear Lake; and two brothers, Robert, Hawaii, and Brian, Seattle. Jonson Peterson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, White Bear Lake, Minn.[1]
