Paul Edward Silva
Paul Edward Silva, 29, died in San Francisco at the home of Jayme Silva and Ray Fontenot of AIDS-related complications. A native of Napa and a longtime resident of Sacramento and San Francisco, Paul was active in the restaurant and catering industry and, for a time, was food and beverage manager for Hyatt Hotel and Resorts. Paul was also an early campaigner for AIDS research and services and was very active in the the day rights movement.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph Silva and Rita Lui Trotter; his brothers, Steve, Brian and Nelson, all of Napa, and Jayme of San Francisco; as well as an extended family of Gloria Silva, Lou Trotter, Mark and Michael Coleman of Napa, And Jeannie Clarke of Torrance.

Remembrances
Paul was a top line dance teacher at faces, and at that time, nearly everyone who danced did hang around together and either clogged or square-danced in addition to line-dancing.
