MINERAL POINT — Michael D. Martin, age 46, formerly of Mineral Point, passed away in Mountain View, California, on September 25, 1990, following a long illness, Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. William (Kim) Ruef of Madison, and Mickey Martin of Monroe; a son, Michael Martin II of Monroe; a grandson, Lucas Michael of Monroe; his mother, Mrs. Hollis (Ermadine) Nelson of Fennimore; five brothers, Richards of Prairie du Sac, Thayne of McHenry, Illinois, Robert of Hazel Green, Mark of Tahatchapi, California, and Timothy of Mineral Point; several aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his father, Richards H. Martin. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 1990, at the United Methodist Church in Mineral Point. Reverend David Kellin will officiate. There will be no graveside services.^[1]
