Obituary

SUITER — Hazel Lou Suiter, a resident of Albuquerque for 46 years, died Wednesday, August 7, 2002. She is survived by her son, Steven Suiter; granddaughter, Catherine Suiter; and daughter-in-law, Judy Suiter, all of Albuquerque; susters, Dorothy White of Bellflower, CA, and Betty Trezona of Spearfish, South Dakota; sisters-in-law, Pearl Holderness of Van Nuys, CA, and Mildred Anderson of Pelham, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Suiter, in 1992, and son, Gary Suiter, in 1982. Hazel was born in Cheyenne, WY on November 8, 1919. She tirelessly volunteered for numerous organizations in Albuquerque over the years, including the VA Hospital, Meals on Wheels, and MADD. She enjoyed tennis and square-dancing immensely and all the friendships associated with those activities. A Memorial Service will be held at First Church of Religious Science, 3320 San Pedro NE, Tuesday, August 13, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Animal Humane Association of New Mexico, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM, 87108 or the charity of your choice.[1]
