Obituary
JEFFERY E. DEVORE
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29, in a home at 2227 N.E. 14th Ave., Portland, for Jeffery E. Devore, who died June 20 of complications of AIDS at age 40.
Mr. Devore was born March 1, 1956, in Ontario. He graduated from Oregon State University in 1978 and had lived in the Portland area since. He was a laboratory analyst for the Unified Sewerage Agency in Washington County.
Survivors include his partner, Kerby Lauderdale with whom he has been associated since 1982; parents, Robert and Patricia Devore of Caldwell, Idaho; sisters, Jennifer Meyer of Ontario, Jan of Payette, Idaho, and Jill Sykes of Caldwell; and brother, Jason of Portland.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to Portland Center Stage and AIDS service and benefit organizations. Arrangements are by Omega Cremation & Burial Service.[1]
