James V. Henderson

PORTLAND — James V. Henderson, 27, died Saturday in a Portland medical center of AIDS.
He was born in Torrance, Calif., and had lived in Independence for nine years. He graduated from Central High School in Independence.
In 1983 he moved to Portland, where he was self-employed for 10 years. He worked as a legal secretary.
Survivors include his companion, David Hill, of Portland; mother, Vicki Wrey of Salem; father, Steven R. Henderson of Lomita, Calif.; stepbrother, Daryl Wrey of Pedee; and stepsister, Laura Wrey of New Jersey.
In keeping with is wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Wilhelm mortuary, Portland.
