The International Association of Gay/Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs (IAGLCWDC), also known as "iggle-wiggle". Founded in 1993, IAGLCWDC is made up of member clubs and oversees conventions, hoedowns, and dance competitions featuring Country Western couples dancing, line dancing and team exhibitions. Some IAGLCWDC functions have also hosted square dancing and clogging sessions. Similarly, somne IAGSDC events host two-stepping and line dancing.
Mission Statement
- The International Association of Gay/Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs coordinates the activities of its member clubs and serves as a central source of information about the Gay & Lesbian Country Western dance scene.
- Our primary purpose is To promote country western dancing, activities and music to all persons without regard to age, sex, gender or gender identity, religion, national or cultural origin, sexual orientation, disability or HIV status.
