MOVIN’ ON
On Saturday, April 11th, surrounded by his family and lover, Donald Naso passed peacefully. A service of Love and Remembrance was held on Friday April 17th, which was attended by several Times Squares members.
Donald was a graduate of the Times Squares’ 1990 class and an exuberant and joyful dancer. He was always willing to help with club functions and was a co-archangel for the 1991 Basic/Mainstream class. He also ran our summer 1991 beverage concession, and attended the 1991 IAGSDC national convention in Miami. I know his cheerful manner and radiant smile will be missed by all.
His lover, Jonathan, has requested any contributions to Donald’s memory be given to: Interfaith, NY; GMHC; The Gay Community Center; or The Times Squares. Along with your donation, please include a piece of paper stating: “Please notify Jonathan Dobin at 85 Seaman Avenue, #2C, NY, NY 10034.”[1]
