Obituary

Born Aug. 12, 1954 in Cleveland, he was the son of Donald F. and Sally (Black) Muntz. Reared in Aurora, attended St. Rita School in Solon and Aurora High School.

Mr. Muntz retired in 1998 from Swaglok in Solon, where he worked for 25 years.

He was an original organizer of the youth group at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora and played guitar during folk masses. He also called square dances and was interested in square dancing competitions.

Survivors include his parents, Donald and Sally of Aurora; brothers, Kenneth M. (Jan) of Mentor, and John A. of Heath, Ohio; and niece, Dianne.

There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Aurora. Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home of Solon is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Catholic Charities, Youngstown Diocese, 302 N. DePeyster St., Kent 44240.[1]
