LAFFERTY, DALE MORGAN

At home in Elk Grove, August 21, 1992 at age 36 surrounded by his family and many friends. Originally from Lemoore CA, Dale graduated nursing from Fresno State in 1979 and moved to Elk Grove in 1980. In the 12 years he worked for Mercy General Hospital, he became the Administrative Nurse for Surgical Intensive Care. Dale was a truly compassionate and dedicated Nurse who always had a clear vision of what was in the best interest of his patients. He was always willing to stand firm on his convictions. Dale had a beautiful garden and Koi pond which was his joy and his meditation, and was an exquisite example of his keen ascetic sense and perfectionism. He was ever the teacher and to the end he shared his knowledge and understanding with all who knew him.

Dale will be sorely missed by his parents, Arlene and John, his older brothers David and Danny, and grandmother Harriet Feeley; his life long best friend Cathy Frazier, his nurturing housemates Vera, Tracy and Teri and neighbor Nina, as well as many other dear friends. A memorial service to be held in his garden will be announced in the future. Donations in his honor would appreciated to the CARES clinic.^[1]
