Obituary

RICHMOND, JR. CLEON C. Born 10-2-37 in Topeka, Kansas to Cleon & Evelyn Richmond. He died 1-4-06 at his home in Riverside from heart failure. He retired after teaching at Secondary Schools & as an art specialist in Rialto for over 35 years. After retirement he continued to be an educator doing workshops for CTA Human Rights & was involved in many community & political organizations. Survived by his mother, Evelyn Richmond of Rialto, two daughters, two granddaughters, a foster son, many loved ones & an extended family of friends. His clever wit, creativity, sense of humor, ever present warm smile & caring heart will be greatly missed. His wishes were that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to a charitable organization. PFLAG, 1726 M St. Ste.400, Washington, DC 20036 A memorial celebration of his life will be hosted by his daughters at the San Bernardino Hilton. To allow family & friends from out of town time to make travel arrangements, the event has been scheduled for Sunday, February 19, 2006 at 11am.[1]
