From the Program Book of the 5th IAGSDC Convention, held in Phoenix, AZ in 1988:

Sunburst Squares, Phoenix, AZ are Arizona's only Gay Exhibition Square Dance Performance Team.

Formed in 1987, the Sunburst Squares have performed at various local events and rodeo dance-fests. The group will be performing at the Colorado Gay Rodeo in July '88. The group is very proud to perform at the 1988 International Gay Square Dance Convention.
