Obituary

Bill (Buck) Chenault
May 1941 - Nov. 1991
On Friday night, Nov. 15, Bill passed away after a gallant five-year battle with AIDS.

Bill was born in Richmond, Va. He is survived by his brother Wayne F. Chenault, many cousins and his companion of 21 years, Russ Hart.

Bill was a graduate of Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Va., where he earned his master's degree in English and creative writing. He later attended the University of Florida for advanced studies on creative writing. He served in the U.S. air Force as a weather forecaster for aerial flights in the Atlantic.

He moved to San Francisco in 1972, and was an underwriter for various insurance companies.

Everyone who met Bill always turned into a lasting friend. He was the most gentle, loving, sensitive man with an impish smile and beautiful blue eyes that made everyone who knew him love him.

Bill's ashes were returned to Virginia where he was buried next to his father. According to his wishes, no funeral service was held.

Bill, we will miss you so much, bu we will meet again for that big bridge tournament somewhere.

Good night, sweet prince.[1]
